Let’s Start Off Fun Friday With Some Medical Humor

Since having a chronic illness often means spending an inordinate amount of time hanging out in doctors’ offices, let’s take a moment today on “Fun Friday” to have some medical chuckles.

One of the sites I enjoy perusing is Gigglemed.com, which has a variety of pages including one for funny physician names, hilarious entries in patients’ charts, and even a diagnosis generator.

I know it’s important for me to take time every day to seek out some laughs, so perhaps it would brighten your day to include at least a few minutes of “playtime” in your schedule.

If you have any funny names or stories to share, please include them in the comments section below.  My personal contribution is that I grew up in a town with an orthodontist whose first name is “Toof.”  I’m not sure if his parents planned for him to be in the dental industry or not, but his name is perfect.
